● Background to the reopening
The b Asakusa, newly opened on October 7, 2018, has been operating successfully for about a year and a half since its opening, receiving many domestic as well as international customers. However, due to the coronavirus that has spread globally since the beginning of 2020, we have been forced to determine that it will be difficult to conduct business activities for the time being, and we have no choice but to close the business on April 30, 2020.
The b hotels, which has strength in attracting inbound customers, considered Asakusa to be one of its most important tourist destinations and was eager to reopen for business. In the spring of 2023, when the Corona disaster is coming to an end, the b hotels' strong will to reopen in Asakusa and the company's previous experience with the Corona disaster were highly evaluated, and the b hotels was given another chance to operate the b Asakusa. We will welcome both domestic and international guests with speed and thoroughness, making the most of our previous experience in Asakusa and the know-how we have cultivated in other "the b hotels".
The b Asakusa will be the second of "the b hotels" to reopen after 2023, when Corona will have reached its conclusion. We are actively looking into the possibility of opening more properties in the future, and accordingly, we are proposing to renovate and improve the facilities and set up new services and features offered by "the b hotels".
