In February 2024, the rising cost of lodging may affect students taking the exam.

Hotel room rates are currently on the rise due to the Corona Convergence and the impact of the recovery in inbound demand caused by the weak yen.
In addition, the timing of the second round of public university examinations in February 2024 coincides with a three-day weekend, which will also coincide with demand for domestic travel, raising concerns about a further rise in lodging costs. In some cases, even if you want to stay at a hotel for the examinations, it may be too expensive to do so.

Reexamine plans that prioritize safety price over added value.

"the b hotels", which has been offering a support plan for students preparing for entrance exams every year, had been reviewing the plan as in previous years. However, in response to news reports that there are concerns about accommodation refugees during the examination period, "the b hotels" has reconsidered the plan that had been in the works until recently. In order to encourage as many students as possible to stay at our hotels, we decided to cut out all costly benefits and offer a more reasonable price.

There were various opinions within the company that there were not many sales advantages to offering a plan with a lower price, especially since the demand was high even without any promotion. However, in the end, we decided to offer a plan to support students preparing for entrance exams at a reasonable price based on the principle of "offering a plan that will benefit students as a hotel.

Cost-free support, including the provision of study rooms, will continue.

the b hachioji will continue to offer free self-study rooms, which have been well received at the b hachioji, as well as other cost-free support services for students preparing for entrance exams.
In addition to the b hachioji, the b suidobashi and the b nagoya will also offer self-study rooms.

The study room hours of each hotel are as follows:

the b hachioji 07:00 - 24:00
the b nagoya 17:00 - 21:00

About the b hotels

The hotel operator operates ‍the b hotels‍, urban hotels targeting business people and urban tourists.
As of December 2023, it operates 16 hotels nationwide, located in conveniently accessible areas in major cities across the country.
