Introduction of lodging tax (from April 1, 2026)

Hokkaido and Sapporo City lodging tax will be applied from April 1, 2026.

Reservations with a stay date on or after April 1, 2026 are subject to taxation regardless of the time of reservation.

Room tax rate (per person per night)

Accommodation fee less than 20,000 yen: 300 yen (breakdown: Hokkaido 100 yen / Sapporo 200 yen)　　　　　

　　　　　More than 20,000 yen to less than 50,000 yen: 400 yen (Hokkaido 200 yen / Sapporo 200 yen)

　　　　　50,000 yen or more: 1,000 yen (Hokkaido 500 yen / Sapporo 500 yen)

*Accommodation tax is not included in the rate at the time of reservation. Please pay upon check-in.
